01Pricing
30 minCall, then one fixed price

Priced after a short call, fixed in a written scope.

Scope, platform, motion and content decide the number, and a price list can't show them. We talk for 30 minutes about your business, then write a scope with one fixed price. It only changes if you change the scope.

How we price3 steps

Why we price after a short call.

We price on what the work has to achieve for you, not on hours. That starts with a conversation about the business, then a price you can hold us to.

  1. 01

    A 30-minute call

Free, with the people who'd do the work. Most of it is about your business: where you are, where you're going and what's in the way. That decides what's worth building.

  2. 02

    A written scope

You get a recommended scope, a timeline and a likely price range on the call, even if we're not the fit. The fixed price follows in writing, before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Your decision

Every project starts with a strategy and direction phase. If the direction isn't right, you can stop there, keep that work and owe nothing more.

Plate 02One price, locked in

Press 1 to 4, or click a weight, to add or take it off

3 of 4 factors · balanced · locked

  • The clamp: the price, fixed in writing
  • The four weights: scope, platform, motion and content

Scope, platform, motion and content are the four weights. The rider slides along the beam until they balance, and where it stops is the price, locked in writing by the clamp. Take a weight off or put one on and the clamp lets go, the beam tips and the rider moves: the price only changes when the scope does.

Projects start at $10k. If that's more than you planned, the Brand & Website Diagnostic or the free scorecard may suit you better.

To see the kind of work behind a scope, read iAgent's launch video, 1.9M+ views, Kaveree's brand and website and Everreach Labs, an annual partner. What each client paid stays private.

Where agency budgets usually go wrong.

Hourly estimates creep, unlimited plans queue your requests and small changes arrive as extra invoices. A fixed scope answers each one.

  • Hourly billing

The estimate doubles once the hours are counted.

    What we do instead

One fixed price in a written scope. It changes only if you change the scope, and you approve that in writing first.

  • Design subscriptions

Unlimited requests, worked one at a time, with a new round for every fix.

    What we do instead

Projects run to a written scope and a date. A partnership works through monthly priorities you set with us.

  • Pay per change

A charge for every small change, and a final invoice above the quote.

    What we do instead

Changes are scoped and priced in writing before they start, and nothing starts until you approve it.

What moves the price.

We agree these on the discovery call, then write them into your scope with one fixed price.

  1. 01

    Scope

How many deliverables and disciplines are involved. A brand refresh costs less than a brand, a website and a launch film together.

  2. 02

    Pages and templates

A single landing page is a smaller build than a full site with CMS templates for a blog, case studies and careers.

  3. 03

    Platform and integrations

Framer and Webflow sites ship faster. Next.js builds with product logic, demos or app integration take more engineering time.

  4. 04

    Motion and 3D

Film length, 2D or 3D, and how many cutdowns and formats the launch needs.

  5. 05

    Content

Whether we write the copy and produce the imagery, or you supply them.

  6. 06

    Directions explored

How many identity directions you want to see, and how many applications we design before rollout.

A fixed price, your date, and a way out after the first phase.

Hiring a studio is a risk. These are the parts of it we carry, in writing, before you sign.

Scope of workStandard terms

  1. Direction before commitment

Every project starts with a strategy and direction phase. If the direction isn't right, you can stop there, keep that work and owe nothing more.

  2. The price in the scope is the price

Your written scope has a fixed price. It only changes if you change the scope, and you approve any change in writing first.

  3. Your date is our date

Launch-critical work is planned backwards from the date you give us, and the plan is agreed in writing at kickoff.

  4. Measured before and after

We record your starting point before we begin and review what moved after launch, so you can see what the work did.

Before you book

Who does the work, and from where?
The people on your first call do the work, and they're named in your written scope. We're based in the Pacific Northwest, USA, and work with clients remotely, worldwide.
Can you hit our date?
Launch-critical work is planned backwards from the date you give us, and the plan is agreed in writing at kickoff.
How do changes work?
You sign off one direction before production starts, so revisions refine it. If the direction isn't right, you can stop there and owe nothing more.
Do we own the files?
Yes. Once paid, the final deliverables made for you are yours, with organized source files and documentation your team can keep building on.
What happens after launch?
We review what moved with you after launch. On website projects we also watch Search Console with you for 30 days and fix anything that drops.
What did clients get?
A launch video with 1.9M+ views for iAgent, a launch film that helped drive 260,000+ wallet connections for Watt2Trade, and a full identity for TICKIZ in four weeks. Every client result →

Pricing & answers.

How we price, scope changes, ownership and what happens if the direction isn't right.

Why don't you publish a price list?

Every project has a different scope, and the same label, such as “a website” or “a launch film”, can mean very different work. We price after a 30-minute call, then fix the price in a written scope before anything starts.

Is there a minimum project size?

Projects start at $10k. For smaller asks, such as a single page or a few social assets, tell us on the call and we'll say honestly whether we're the right fit.

What will I know after the call?

A recommended scope, a timeline and a likely price range, even if we're not the right fit. Your fixed price follows in a written scope.

What happens if the scope changes?

The price in your written scope only changes if the scope does. If you want to add or change something, we scope and price it in writing first, and nothing starts until you approve it.

Can we stop after the direction phase?

Every project starts with a strategy and direction phase. If the direction isn't right, you can stop there, keep that work and owe nothing more.

How does the Brand & Website Diagnostic credit work?

The Diagnostic is a paid first step and takes 5 working days. The full fee comes off any project you book with us within 30 days.

Who owns the work once we've paid?

You do. Once paid, the final deliverables made for you are yours, with organized source files and documentation your team can keep building on. Fonts, stock and other third-party assets stay under their own licenses.

How is the Design Partnership billed?

Monthly, in advance. Under our current Terms you can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. We don't refund partial months unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.

How do we pay, and are taxes included?

Card payments run through Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. Our fees don't include taxes, which are added where they apply.
